This dataset includes DNA data from 27 individuals described in Harney et al. (2023). The
dataset is organized into the following folders, according to data format:

1) pseudohaploid_dataset

Data in this folder were originally released in the technical report Harney et al. (2022).
They are saved in PACKEDANCESTRYMAP format, which you may convert the data to other
formats using the "convertf" utility of EIGENSOFT
(https://data.broadinstitute.org/alkesgroup/EIGENSOFT/).

A number of different analyses can be performed using the applications in ADMIXTOOLS
(https://github.com/DReichLab/AdmixTools).

The dataset includes three files: *.geno (genotype data), *.ind (individual data), and
*.snp (SNP data). Together they contain genotype information for 27 historical individuals
from Catoctin Furnace, Maryland.

2) imputed_filtered_phased_dataset

Data in this folder were generated via GLIMPSE imputation, filtered to include only
genotypes with a maximum genotype posterior of at least 0.95, and then phased using one of two custom 23andMe phasing panels, corresponding to the "v5" and "pre-v5" genotyping panels, as described in Harney et al. (2023).

The dataset includes 2 bcf files, one for each phasing panel. Each .bcf file contains data for each of the 27 Catoctin individuals (including those who did not have
sufficient coverage to include in the analyses reported in Harney et al, 2023). Additionally this folder contains the associated index files (.bcf.csi) for each .bcf file and the full lists of positions used during IBD analysis (v5_snplist.csv and prev5_snplist.csv).

Additionally, you may find sequence data for the individuals (originally reported in Harney et al (2022)) in the European Nucleotide Archive (https://www.ebi.ac.uk/ena/) under accession number PRJEB52230
