This dataset includes ancient genotype data as described in Lipson et al. (2017) in PACKEDANCESTRYMAP format.

You may convert the data to other formats using the "convertf" utility of EIGENSOFT (https://data.broadinstitute.org/alkesgroup/EIGENSOFT/).

A number of different analyses can be performed using the appliations in ADMIXTOOLS (https://github.com/DReichLab/AdmixTools).

The dataset includes three files: *.geno (genotype data), *.ind (individual data), and *.snp (SNP data). Together they contain genotype information for 210 ancient individuals: 139 European Neolithic samples newly described in this study (see Supplementary Table 1 of the paper for full metadata) and 71 previously published samples (Lazaridis et al. Nature 2014, Olalde et al. Nature 2014, Gamba et al. Nature Communications 2014, Haak et al. Nature 2015, Olalde et al. MBE 2015, Mathieson et al. Nature 2015, Jones et al. Nature Communications 2015, Fu et al. Nature 2016).

BAM files:

You may find sequence read data on the 139 ancient individuals first reported here in the European Nucleotide Archive (https://www.ebi.ac.uk/ena/) under accession number PRJEB22629.
