This dataset includes ancient genotype data as described in Sirak, Fernandes et al. (2020) in PACKEDANCESTRYMAP format.

You may convert the data to other formats using the "convertf" utility of EIGENSOFT (https://data.broadinstitute.org/alkesgroup/EIGENSOFT/).

A number of different analyses can be performed using the applications in ADMIXTOOLS (https://github.com/DReichLab/AdmixTools).

The dataset includes three files: ossicles.geno (genotype data), ossicles.ind (individual data), and ossicles.snp (SNP data). Together they contain genotype information for the 16 ancient individuals (2 libraries per samples) analyzed in Sirak, Fernandes et al. (2020). For each individual analyzed, data is reported for DNA extracted from the cochlea (Co) and ossicles (Oss). The third column in the ossicles.ind file indicates the sample name and the skeletal element sampled.

BAM files:
You may find sequence read data for the individuals reported here in the European Nucleotide Archive (https://www.ebi.ac.uk/ena/) under accession number PRJEB32751
